On September 30, SB 553, also known as the Occupational Safety: Workplace Violence: Restraining Orders and Workplace Violence Prevention Plan, was officially enacted into law. This legislation targets two key aspects of workplace violence prevention for employers: restraining orders and the implementation of a comprehensive workplace violence prevention plan.
