March Board of Directors Meeting
Registration is now open for the March Board of Directors Meeting, February 28th - March 1st, at the PRISM Offices in Folsom. All members are welcome! Join us in person for Executive and Board meetings, as well as member networking events, and workshops. All meetings will also be available via Zoom for those who cannot attend in person. PRISM Risk Control Presents – Addressing Homeless Encampments
Join PRISM Risk Control and Liability Claims Manager, Terry M. Butrym for a presentation on the challenges in closing a northern California homeless encampment. The discussion will focus on protecting your agency by minimizing claims and avoiding lawsuits. The audience will walk away with valuable tools regarding; interaction with campers, documentation, safety, personal property issues, and providing a relocation site after the closing. New EAGLE Award Spotlight - GSRMA
PRISM's EAGLE (Exemplary Achievement in Government Leadership and Enrichment) Awards Program recognizes members for excellence in risk management. Check out this video spotlight on Golden State Risk Management Authority (GSRMA), where Dave Glende and Sam Adams of GSRMA discuss their program "Cyber Risk Self Assessment," which was awarded the 2023 EAGLE Award for Innovation and Excellence in Development and Implementation in Risk Control Programs. Join us for another 8 week course continuing through the world of Risk Management taught by instructor: Erike Young, a Board Certified Safety Professional (CSP) who has earned the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation and completed the Enterprise Risk Management Certificated (ARM-E). He earned his Master in Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) from California State University, Sacramento and BA from the University of California, Davis.
