| First Responder Program to Add Peer Support Services |

 The First Responder Task Force will soon issue an RFP for Peer Support Services to add to the ConcernPlus First Responder Program. If you are currently working with a vendor that offers peer support services and/or training that you think is worthy of consideration, please send their contact and any pertinent background information to Rick Brush, Chief Member Services Officer. Are you part of the Property Program? Your entity is eligible to apply for a Property Program Grant, which includes up to $25k per member, per fiscal year, on a matching basis. Funds may be used for risk control programs and projects designed to reduce exposures associated with the Property Program.
One great way to use these matching funds is to protect vacant buildings. Applications should be submitted to the PRISM Risk Control Department by Tuesday, January 30th to be considered at the next Property Committee Meeting. | Pass the Baton Mentorship |

| The Pass the Baton Mentorship (PBM) program is off to a great start this new year. We have monthly drop-in meetings with an experienced risk professional to answer all your questions. Additionally, we will be conducting a quarterly round table to discuss how we can improve the program for the benefit of the participants. With the flurry of new jobs, people, and events, we believe the PBM Program is a valuable asset PRISM Members should take full advantage of. | PRISM Risk Control has updated the Workplace Violence Prevention: Best Practices for Public Agencies guide to include SB 553. Developed in partnership with Chubb, this resource is great no matter where you are in the development of an agency workplace violence prevention program.
